is old-school tough. She’s a D1 caliber forward that averaged nearly 18 points and 8 rebounds last season for a very good Stewart’s Creek team. She does most of her damage around the rim, but she’s a matchup nightmare in getting to her spots (and just so you know…she’s going to get to her spots). If defenses put a tradition big on her, she’ll catch on the perimeter facing the rim and test the defenders lateral movement. Put a smaller defender on her and she’s comfortable catching with her back to the basket. Underrated passer. Makes a really tough tandem in the paint with

Gosh, just watch the film. Physically, she jumps off the screen as the strongest kid on the floor. Physically, she’s college ready. Skill wise, she’s got an old school where she’s most comfortable attacking the rim and shooting from mid-range, but she’s beginning to show off a more diverse skill set. She’s shown off nice handles this summer, and beginning to look more fluid as a powerful wing with playmaking ability. If she can consistently starting hitting from 3, she’s got different level she can get to as a player. She’s already sitting on D1 offers, and certainly will be sitting on more if this summer is any indication of what is to come.

put on a show this weekend. She’s an old fashion scorer that doesn’t really use the 3 ball, and doesn’t try to be what she isn’t. She dominated GTS Fusion 17U Rise with a 19 point performance simply by playing her version of bully ball. She’s physical, gritty, and won’t get out-toughed around the rim. She will finish straight through the defenders chest, and is hyper competitive. I think she’s going to be an incredibly good college player as her work ethic will eventually lead to her extended her range.

I thought she was lights out on Saturday morning as a two way player. Really sits in a stance and defends, and is a high level rebounder. Her ability to attack the rim with force is just hard to handle, and she lived at the FT line on Saturday morning in their two wins. Really underrated ’25.

? She’s simply a stud. She’s had a fantastic junior year averaging close to 18 and 8, and providing her team with all the intagibles a coach would hope for from their team leader. Stewarts Creek has some really nice wins as of late, and Ward is always right at the center.
She’s now sitting on 3 sitting on three Division 1 offers, and we can only assume that number will continue to grow. Her and Bernard for a really nice duo. Keep an eye out for this team.

I thought there were times that Ward was the best player on the floor. Masingale is certainly more polished, but Ward has had to figure out how to get to her points inside a different flow and different angles. Ward is going to be a tremendous college role player.
