Misick-Rivas paid her dues to get to varsity status after spending a bit of time as an eighth grader in the junior varsity ranks. Even though her Lexington Hoopsters team gave Palmetto 76ers/A’ja Wilson Elite 15U everything it can handle, Misick-Rivas’ team still was on the receiving end of a 44-35 defeat. She put together an impressive performance by leading her team with nine points. Not only did she showcase what she can do on offense and with the ball in her hands, but also on the defensive end as well as a shot blocker. Rebounding has shown itself to be another strong point of her game.

Misick-Rivas first earned her blue and gold Wildcats colors when she was an eighth grader and she is poised to be a key player in the team’s future the following three seasons. She has travel experience with Lexington Hoopsters. Misick-Rivas is unafraid to draw contact and give a team opportunities at the free throw line. She runs the floor with a great deal of efficiency and gets regularly in the right places at the right times in the paint. Whether it is as a starter or off the bench, Misick-Rivas will give her team serviceable minutes. She played in 20 games last season and has the added benefit of having senior Lindsay Garner Lindsay Garner 6'2" | C Lexington | 2023 State SC as a mentor.

Misick-Rivas is primed for greatness with the 5A Wildcats given she has one of the premier bigs in the state in Lindsay Garner Lindsay Garner 6'2" | C Lexington | 2023 State SC as a mentor before she heads to West Georgia following this season. The young frontcourt force has played travel ball with Lexington Hoopsters and participated in 20 matchups this past season. She can give a team productive minutes whether she is coming off the bench or if she is a starter. Misick-Rivas is an efficient floor runner and knows exactly where she needs to be in the painted area. She also will draw contact and give her team added points at the free throw line.
