Here is a commitment that actually took place in early January during the winter break. In late September, Thomas landed an offer from SC State and she declared her commitment to the in-state Division I HBCU in January. She has put together an illustrious career during her time at 5A Division 1 Blythewood which included winning last season’s state championship. Thomas also recently reached the 2,000-point plateau for her high school career. Through the 22 games she has played this season, Thomas has averaged a double-double of 22.2 points and 11.6 rebounds plus four assists and 2.2 steals per game.
