Expert Analysis

Impressed in viewings on Saturday and Sunday. Good athlete, making plays around the rim on both ends of the court. Hustled for a transition block and has good hang time on drives. Allowing her to finish well even when well covered on drives. Quickness and handles allow her to push the tempo. Dribbled through defenders either looking to score herself or make good transition pitch aheads to set up her teammates. Looks set for another big summer of tournaments.

is one of the top young hoopers I had the chance to watch this summer. Coming off an impressive freshman season for Oakley High School and suiting up this summer for WKE, she may be young, but she competes with the confidence and composure of a seasoned vet. Her outside shot is smooth and reliable, stretching defenses and creating space for her teammates. She isn’t just an outside shooter she has speed and quickness, she can blow by defenders and attack the rim with ease. Whether spotting up from deep or driving the lane, She makes an impact every time she steps on the floor. Her future is bright, and she’s just getting started.

a star I have covered before looks to continue her rising 2028 guard status by blending length, defensive instincts, and growing offensive chops. With a strong freshman campaign behind her, the I‑35 Summer Shootout is the perfect stage to establish herself among the elite rising guards in her class. Expect her to make her presence felt late in games—through steals, tough drives, and guiding her WKE team on both ends of the floor.

Marshall’s scoring versatility is one of her strongest assets. She’s shown the ability to score off the bounce, attack the rim aggressively, and stretch the floor with perimeter shooting—registering a solid 32% from beyond the arc, a team-best percentage in that category. It isn’t just her perimiter shooting that leads to points. Marshall is very versatile and has the ability to put the ball on the floor and score, whether she is attacking the basket or pulling up for a shot. Marshall is poised to become a top scorer in the coming years.

is coming off a standout freshman season. Watching her play makes it hard to believe she just finished her first year. With her long-range shooting, she’s a constant threat from the outside. She can also put the ball on the floor and use her quick feet and hands to attack the basket. She has plenty of moves in her arsenal, from euro steps to ball fakes, and she finds a way to get to the hole. Chesney’s game is well beyond her age, and she’s poised to become a powerhouse in the years ahead.
