It means you know where to be, when in situations, without having to be told and stuff along those lines. She is good enough to be one of your team’s main threats or she can play off the ball and still averaging some respectable numbers whenever those opportunities present themselves. Treynor is always a powerhouse program out of Iowa. They make it to the State Tournament on a consistent basis and I could see that happening again in the near future with Fate helping lead the way.

Cici Fate Cici Fate 5'3" | SG Treynor | 2028 State IA of Western Iowa Express and Treynor High School is a name we will hear more about this upcoming Winter. Fate is a 5’3 SG, that can also move over to the 1 spot to run her team’s action. She thrives in the aspects of having high energy, being a great teammate, she possesses natural touch and instincts, all while being someone that you love to compete with. Fate’s put together a nice Spring AAU campaign so far and I can’t wait to see how that translate to the high school floor throughout the month of June.

Cici Fate Cici Fate 5'3" | SG Treynor | 2028 State IA made the switch to Western Iowa Express this season for AAU ball and by the looks of it, it seems like it was the right choice. Fate is playing up a grade level for W.I.E and she is loving every minute of it. So much so, that she is playing some confident basketball right now. Fate is a shifty PG with crafty moves, a quick side movement, and a thorough scoring/assisting ability. On a number of occasions she is killing her individual defender off the dribble, getting into the lane and either hitting a shot for a nice bucket herself or she ends up finding a fellow teammate instead. Either way, it’s pretty successful. Fate also competes with high energy and she seems like a great teammate. Two things that have been very obvious this AAU season from afar.

We are going to see Cici Fate Cici Fate 5'3" | SG Treynor | 2028 State IA of Treynor High School in a few weeks back on the AAU floor with her Nebraska Attack program from the Spring/Summer season. Fate, a 5’3 PG, has always shown self-awareness, natural instincts at the PG spot, and a willingness to sacrifice for those around her. Her natural ability to be in the right space at the right time, is one of the best out of her 2028 Class that I’ve seen and that is going to play moving forward. Within her high school program this Winter, she has learned some things and she is ready for that to translate to the travel floor. Fate still has a long way to go with her career but if she sticks with it, I could see her competing after the high school level in some form/facet. That’s a for sure.

The awareness, pure skill-set, and natural ability that Cici Fate Cici Fate 5'3" | SG Treynor | 2028 State IA possesses is noteworthy at the guard position moving into her Freshman season at Treynor. Fate is someone that has proven herself over and over on the AAU floor up until this point in her career and at Treynor they could really unlock her full potential. This is a well-rounded program with better than average coaching, notable player development, and simple concepts within their system. All three of those things usually tends to help prospects grow as players over their years so I would expect nothing less in this situation. Fate is someone you watch and you can immediately tell that she is smarter than most around her on the court. If she plays to that strength and works smarter rather than harder moving forward, who knows what she could do across the state of Iowa these next few seasons.

Cici Fate Cici Fate 5'3" | SG Treynor | 2028 State IA is a Freshman at Treynor High School and she is someone that is going to be able to impact their program in the grand scheme of things over the next four years. Fate may only stand at 5’3 but she can handle the rock under pressure, she can facilitate in some impressive ways, she has fantastic vision up the floor, and she understands her mixture of timing/spacing against other opponents lining up across from her. Treynor is a program that is always in the State conversation at the end of the season and when they continue to bring in prospects like this, I understand why. I’m not sure how they will fair this Winter but if it’s anything like the past couple of seasons, they will be just fine.

Cici Fate Cici Fate 5'3" | SG Treynor | 2028 State IA of Treynor High School joins this Update as a crafty and original playmaker. She is a guard that has a quick handle, a smart head on her shoulders, the ability to create for others off of the dribble or from the perimeter, and her situational awareness is higher than most her age. Within a program like Treynor, it can be tough to see the Varsity floor right away. This is a group that usually makes a state appearance every year, so Fate might have to be patient but I don’t anticipate that to take too long from what I’ve seen so far.
