Meyer has developed into a physical and skilled 5’10 forward who consistently finds her way around the basket. She plays bigger than her size thanks to excellent footwork and positioning on the block. Claire can read rebounds well and finishes effectively with either hand, often powering through contact. Her understanding of post play is good, and she shows the confidence to battle inside when the game gets physical. Claire also has a quick first step to attack defenders, particularly from the left side, and she displays solid court vision as a passer who makes smart decisions.

Meyer is a very fun player to watch operate around the painted area. She has great feet in the post, gets strong position and has good feel for getting deep seals in order to create easy opportunities. She goes to get the ball off the glass with strength and reads it well off the rim. She’s able to finish around the rim with both hands and is crafty finishing through contact. Meyer’s understanding of playing on the block is elite for her age level and will be fun to track as she goes forward.
