About Danica

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Offensively I am good shooter. I’m a good passer setting up my teammates for easy shots. My handling skills are good but I am working on them and continue to get better. I am a team player and always give 100%. Every person on a team is important and I want to be the best teammate.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Personality is very outgoing and open to changes. Challenge and positive mindset. I can deal with changes and take criticism well. I have been told I’m very coachable.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I participate in anti-bullying and SMILE club. I’ve earned a presidential award when graduating 8th grade.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed a strong communication trait while playing on teams and working with clubs. I’m a team player when it comes to group activities, and I’m a strong helping hand to others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I would say my challenge would be physically my height but I still play with all my heart. At some moments I get in my head but realize I have other abilities that my height doesn’t matter. Like my shooting skills and my ability to be a versatile player.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college or university that’s challenges me, positively impacts my way of thinking, and prepares me for my future career.
