is no unfamiliar face in the community. She’s been standing out and shining amongst her peers throughout her high school career at Nelson in basketball. Daughter of former NBA star Martell Webster, Nylah takes after her father with her talents on the court.
She has great size for a guard and plays at a fast-paced speed that leaves her opponents in a foot race trying to catch her. She’s able to really get creative on offense and change directions in mid-air, which opens up space for her to score. On defense, she’s great at locking up her opponents and blocking shots with her impressive wingspan.
As a sharp shooter, Nylah shone at the Portland Boys showcase by winning the girls 3 3-point competition. She scored an impressive 14 threes in a minute of time. She also made the game-winning shot on the court in a heated team battle to reach 50 points first.
Nylah’s consistency is what’s carrying her far and will land her a Division 1 scholarship at a school of her choice. She’s been working hard in the off-season with her Jason Kidd AAU program. She’s standing out and competing against other top talent in the United States and internationally.
Nylah is dedicated to improving her game and getting training time in any day she can. It will be exciting to see how she does her senior year at Nelson. Leading the way on the court, there’s no doubt Nylah will take her team to the state playoffs.

is an excellent one-on-one player, has a quick first step, and can shoot the three-ball in the defender’s eye. The 5-foot-10 guard has athletic handles, attacks the lane, and squares up to drain the midrange pull-up or leans in for the controlled finish at the rim. She can hit from three on the pull-up or catch-and-shoot. She is a good off-ball defender with quick instincts to jump the lane for the steal that leads to a full-court fast break layup. Webster was named to the Mt. Hood Conference First Team her sophomore year.

is athletic, has great handles, can hit the pull-up three in the defender’s face, and can drive and finish through contact. Webster penetrates inside from the perimeter and stops for the pull-up or goes all the way to the rim. Her shot is hard for defenders to contest. She makes controlled contact with the defender and creates just enough separation with her shooting form—elbow out, ball over the shoulder—to get a clean look. It’s effective. She was also big on the defensive boards. Webster averaged 19 points, 11.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1 steal per game in the Platinum bracket of the POA Holiday Classic. She shot 5-of-9 from three against Jefferson.

would be a catch for any college program. She has great length as a 5’10 shooting guard and combined with an unbelievable athleticism, she is a true two-way threat on both ends of the floor. Webster can score at all three levels with a nice shot as well as an explosiveness that allows her to blow by defenders and get to the rim.

is one of the top players and athletes in the class of 2027. As a 5’10 wing with elite athleticism, Webster is a constant defensive threat with deflections, steals, and blocks. She also uses her athleticism to create on the offensive end, and combine that with her nice handles, her ability to shoot from the outside, and her excellent court vision while finding her teammates, and you have an all-around super talented freshman in Webster. In a couple of her best games this season, Webster had 12 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 block against Caldera, and 8 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks versus Wilsonville. Her contributions in all ways have helped Nelson to be a top-10 team in the state so far this year, and it will be exciting to watch one of the most versatile players in Webster continue to develop all of her skills throughout her career.
