About Dasha

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a high-energy, defensive-minded player. I bring intensity on defense, hustle for every play, and thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented systems. I’m constantly learning and working on my offensive game, but my heart is in lockdown defense and doing the dirty work that helps my team win.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a team-first athlete who believes in hard work, humility, and doing whatever it takes to help my team succeed. I’m disciplined, coachable, and never afraid to put in extra work to improve. I’m not a selfish player—I take pride in supporting my teammates, both on and off the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I’ve been consistently recognized for my academic excellence throughout school, maintaining honor roll status while competing in multiple sports. I take pride in balancing academics and athletics, and I’m committed to continuing that throughout high school and beyond.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and communication skills through years of being a dual-sport athlete. I played competitive soccer for most of my life before transitioning to basketball, and both sports have taught me how to stay mentally tough, adapt quickly, and thrive in a team environment. I lead by example on and off the court and always try to uplift my teammates.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with strong academics and a competitive basketball program where I can grow both as a student and an athlete. I want to be part of a team with a positive, hardworking culture and coaches who value discipline, teamwork, and development. I’m open to exploring opportunities in and out of state, and I’m looking for a program that feels like family and pushes me to be my best.
