About Delilah
Expert Analysis
Bret Swanson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Soltys brings good versatility to the floor. Delilah recently picked up an offer from Georgia Southern University to go with a host of others. Delilah can play multiple positions on the floor anywhere from the 1-3. She will look to drive to the cup when she’s not she will look to drop the mid-range jumper.
Soltys a left-handed guard is very crafty with the ball in her hands. She does a nice job of playing off ball-screens and setting her teammates up along the way. Soltys rarely leaves the floor and certainly logs a lot of minutes every night.

She now holds offers from a pair of Division I Hoop State schools in Appalachian State and Western Carolina along with Presbyterian College. At 5-foot-8 and playing the one, Soltys is naturally left-handed and has the ability to finish at the rim. She can get creative with her passing abilities. She may be a relative youngster, but is mature beyond her years. Soltys played in 26 games last season and is sure to be an important player as Mauldin looks for a 5A championship.

The Mavericks program as a whole is getting increased attention from college coaches as evidenced by the offers Soltys has received to ball out at the next level. Division I’s Presbyterian and Appalachian State have offered her and those likely will not be the only ones she receives before she commits prior to her 2025 graduation. Soltys has increased in height and now stands at 5-foot-8. She is a natural southpaw that will complete finishes at the rim and can get crafty with her passing abilities. Soltys has also been praised for her maturity despite her young age and that will be a much-needed asset for a contending Mauldin team.
