Collins’ quick reactions and ability to reach seemingly impossible positions make “Elastigirl” a fitting nickname. Her explosiveness and long reach allow her to deflect passes, block shots, and finish at difficult angles. However, her powers come from exceptional agility and athleticism. Combined with her basketball IQ and playmaking ability, those tools make Collins a difficult matchup for opposing wings.

Destiny Collins is a fierce competitor and the Stallions’ Swiss Army knife. She can rebound, facilitate, defend, and score when needed. Collins also helps the offense run smoothly.

Moreover, she is a glue player who leads by example. She is never afraid of the dirty work. Her motor stays high from buzzer to buzzer.

When games get tight, expect Collins to take charge. She has the toughness and versatility to make winning plays.

Collins impacts the game through her relentless effort and playmaking. She thrives in transition, running the floor hard, creating proper spacing, and timing her cuts well to put herself in position for easy scoring opportunities, while also showing the ability to handle the ball, attack from the perimeter, and create offense with crafty moves and strong reads of the defense. She sets the tone on both ends of the floor.

The heartbeat of her team.

Watched her in a loss—and you wouldn’t have known it without the scoreboard. That’s the highest compliment there is.

Collins is all motor and no shortcuts. She sets the standard and expects everyone else to meet it. Tough defensive assignments? Hers. Loose balls? Hers. Dirty work? Guaranteed.

She doesn’t just play hard—she forces everyone around her to rise.

That’s leadership. That’s impact.

Leading sixth-seeded Green Run into a challenging matchup against Deep Creek, Collins has the tools to impact a game. A defensive-minded guard with the ability to get downhill and finish at the rim. Collins also excels at creating opportunities for her teammates within the flow of the offense. If she sets the tone early on both ends of the floor, Green Run could turn this matchup into a postseason upset.

A relentless competitor with a high motor who stretches the floor and consistently draws defensive attention. Capable of facilitating within the offense while also creating scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. Continued development of shooting range will raise her ceiling. However, she already shows the ability to get to the basket at will.

Looks like she has made the full transition from power forward to the wing!  Plays hard all the time, has a relentless effort on the court. Is still a versatile player, Destini can still double back and help out in the front court if needed. She plays the game aggressive and fast which she utilizes both offensively and defensively. With a nice first step for a wing and a constant threat in transition she’s a threat score in many ways. A player that is raw at her position that will only get better, picked up her first offer!
