Long, athletic, and hard to stop when motivated, Destinie attacks in straight lines with excellent ball control and poise. She creates spacing with her drives, opens passing lanes, and keeps her team’s offense in rhythm. A versatile player, she sometimes plays with youthful energy, but her strength and developing poise allow her to make a big impact on both ends of the floor. Her quick feet, long arms, and defensive awareness make her a disruptive force, turning stops into opportunities for her team.

There aren’t too many players in this class that have high tier athleticism in their veins, and that’s what Roe has used to dominate so far. As her skillset grows and expands, it wouldn’t be a shocker to see this kid gain some heavy offers within the next couple of years. High upside.

When I saw Roe this weekend, she was really working near the basket on both ends of the floor but from seeing her more and more, she is versatile with how well she moves off the ball. She can post up smaller defenders and use her power or she can step out and make things happen from the perimeter. At times this CHE team will even stick Roe at the top of their defensive pressure because of her mixture of natural instincts, athletic ability, and willingness to go for tips/steals in crucial moments. She may be a young prospect in the game but Roe is definitely a name to know.
