Devin was a nice addition to the Palmetto State Rankings this past year after moving in from North Carolina. She currently has picked up some offers along the way. Devin played this season for the Lady Lancers who are currently (22-13) on the season under Head Coach John Edwards.
Devin a combo guard brings good versatility to the floor with her play. She currently is averaging 13 ppg and 3.8 rebounds this season for the Lady Lancers. Devin plays the game in attack mode and getting to the cup or simply looking to knockdown shots from the mid-range. She really does a nice job of playing both ends of the court.
Devin made the move from #49 to #22 on this latest update of the 2025 Palmetto State Rankings.

showed her toughness taking the ball all the way and battling contact to get her some points. She had some nice range with her shot hitting several clutch three’s giving her team the lead right when her team needed to quiet the crowd. She crashed the boards going after rebounds on both ends, and she pushed the ball up the court getting fast breaks going.

The program at Legion Collegiate has always been adept at attracting top talent from other schools. Our next two evaluations are indications of that. Long will sport the green and blue colors of the Lancers following a stint where she wore 4A Olympic’s colors. Long recently picked up an offer from Guilford Tech to add to her list of offers she received from Allen, Agnes Scott and USC-Aiken. Long played in 23 games in her final season with the Trojans and averaged 16.4 points and 3.6 rebounds a game. She displays strong ball-handling abilities and compliments those with superb rim attacking capabilities as well as emphatically finishing at the cup.

is a bucket. She can shoot the basketball from several feet behind the three-point line. She can also drive to the rim or create space for her pretty jump shot in the paint. Long has an exceptional handle of the basketball and fantastic balance on her jumper. She can rise over her defender and drain a shot with precision for her team. Long will be primed for an extraordinary weekend on the court.

Devin Long has shot fakes for days that she can use at any speed on the court whether she is faking it off the pass to get the open look or she is faking the pass running full speed on a fast break. Her ability to knock down shots from deep is an asset, too, scoring on all levels. Her tenacious defense is sure to grab some steals for her team picking the pocket of her opponents.

Devin Long was making some nice plays at the rim and finishing from the free throw line. She set herself up well shooting around the arc, and she ran some offensive sets finding her open teammates for their own points. She was creating her own plays getting offensive rebounds and being ready to put them right back up.

shows up as a leader no matter what team she is playing on. The now 2025 guard will be suiting up for United Faith this upcoming season, and she is certainly going to be the player that the offense runs through for the year. She controls the ball and the tempo. She can knock down shots all around the perimeter, and she knows how to make the smart pass into her teammates underneath the basket. She is sure to get steals to take the other direction for her own points, too.

The United Faith guard had an impressive weekend for the Lady Monarchs as she showed off a variety of skillsets in the backcourt. She is a strong finisher inside as she is not afraid of contact. She had a beautiful spin move and finish inside the paint during Day 2 and also shot the ball well. She was able to hit the 3 ball, showing off her range and she also rebounded the ball well. Devin showed that she can do a little bit everything and we will be keeping our eyes on her this season.

showed off her stroke around the perimeter with her new team, and she attacked the basket being ready to score through contact when needed. She filled in the lanes on fast breaks staying ready for the pass and bucket. She shot well off the dribble creating her own space to put up her shot. She was tough on defense, too, blocking the path of her opponents.

is tough on both ends of the court being able to drive aggressively on the offensive side and strip the ball from her opponents on the defensive side. She uses her strength to get inside for some rebounds, and she uses her crossovers to make her defender lose their footing as she pushes the tempo. Her vision is great finding the lanes to fill in herself or finding her flashing teammate to get them the ball and bucket.
