Gullage showed she could not only overpower players inside the paint to score, but she also finished with either hand. She’s moving more fluidly around the basket, well, doing the same thing on defense, so her timing to block shots has gotten even better as she rejected as few, and her court vision, along with facing the basket to score, also looked good

Gullage has always had the frame, coupled with standing above “the magic number” yet seeing her elevate her game and become a legitimate scoring threat inside the paint has been a pleasure for me to see. The last time I saw her, she put her team on her back down the stretch to not only score, but make key defensive plays and knocking down free throws to seal the victory was huge see evaluations here

Gullage is just getting into the groove after a successful volleyball season, and let me say this, size matters when you can play, and boy did she play. Yes, she uses her frame inside the paint on both ends, yet seeing her step out and play the passing lane as well as attack and score was nice. The “hands and footwork” got her some baskets, defense was solid, including knocking away the potential game winner, but her poise under pressure, hitting 2 free throws for the win, has her rising up the charts

Gullage’s size and frame give her team an immediate advantage inside. She plays with power in the paint and has a strong understanding of how to use her body to finish around the rim. Drawing plenty of defensive attention, she frequently gets to the free-throw line — and converts. When facing up, as PGH Simmie Colson noted here, Gullage’s quick first step puts her in attack mode, allowing her to get defenders off balance and explode toward the basket.

Gullage left me speechless a couple of times as her “on the court” progression in a short period is taking off. Let me back it up with her standing above “the magic number” and having a “college-ready” frame, yet she’s also ready for whatever, as her “power in the paint” on both ends of the court is creating more problems. She rebounded on both ends, scored around the basket, putbacks included, but her first step is what had me smiling as she blew by the defender to score from the free throw line off the dribble

Gullage is also showing what I love to see, and that’s “on the court” progression. Her college-ready body is starting to send messages to defenders as well as next-level coaches as she’s doing things more fluidly and efficiently, and watching her BATTLE and go AFTA the ball off the rim was a huge plus. Her lateral movement on defense looked good, and she scored inside the paint

Gullage has a couple of things you can’t teach, like size, she stands above “the magic number” as well as having a “college-ready body” and as much as I’ve enjoyed watching her improvement at using her “hands and footwork” around the basket to score, she’s doing things more fluidly. Yes, she defends inside the paint but her lateral movement has gotten better, and so has her rebounding and court vision

Gullage’s upside is also scary, especially since her “hands and footwork” to score around the basket has taken a jump. Picture this, she already has a college-ready frame and stands a couple of inches above “the magic number” and that in itself will attract next-level coaches but her doing things more fluidly on both ends of the court is a huge plus

Gullage is coming into her own and when you factor in she stands above “the magic number” and has a “college-ready frame” the real magic is being framed up as she’s doing things on both ends more fluidly, showing she can not only ignite the break after rebounding but running the floor on both ends. Hands and footwork to score was another plus
