Vega controlled the game from both ends off the top, and seeing her move more fluidly to not only score but also defend, both in and outside the paint, speaks volumes about her ability to elevate her game. Vega smoothly gets the job done on both ends yet she can flip the switch and show she can go AFTA everything off the rim, in the air, even off the floor yet watching her score off the dribble and finish after contact has always been a treat, her short jumper also looked good. She saw the floor and did a good job defensively both in and outside the paint

Vega falls into that gave me a “lasting first impression” group when I first saw her because of her size, college-ready frame, and agility so as she has continued to show “on the court” progression, I’m watching her not only score multiple ways around the basket but the short jumper is looking good, so is her attacking and finishing from the wing. Rebounding, on both ends, as well as defense was also solid

Vega was a huge surprise for me over the club season and her being moved onto the list was solidified before I caught her going off at the Girl’s TABC Showcase. She has the college ready frame to go along with standing at ‘the magic number” and watching her maneuver inside the paint to score multiple ways is nice, She has the “hands and footwork” thing down, #THROWBACK, she scores on putbacks, yes she rebounds on both ends and she can take the defender strongly off the dribble and finish after the lick. I also saw the midrange game come around but her upside is very nice
