She uses her excellent footwork to create space and stay balanced, allowing her to finish through contact or around defenders with ease. Her patience and poise stand out—Elin knows how to use pump fakes to get defenders off their feet and take high-percentage shots. Whether she’s scoring in the post or attacking off the dribble, her smart moves and controlled touch make her a reliable scoring option. Elin’s ability to stay composed and use technique over force makes her an efficient and dependable player in key moments.

Elin has quick hands, probably even quicker hands than she thinks she has. It is not a good idea to dribble the ball right in front of her; she’s gonna take it from you. Elin has solid overall mechanics with her posture as she dribbles. A posture that seems comfortable with her handles, which leads me to believe she has strong potential @ PG.

When I first sat down to watch Elin Diskin Elin Diskin 5'7" | SG/PG MIll Valley | 2028 State KS and her Kansas Elite team to compete, she was placed in the middle of her team’s offense against a 2-3 because of her ability to make accurate and smart passes. From there, Diskin showed off her ability to run the PG spot from the outside of the zone with how well she can get her teammates the ball in favorable positions. When you watch a young prospect, you can tell if they have it as a passer early on. It’s a mixture of their touch on the pass, when they look to pass, and how they physically get it out of their hands. You can tell that Diskin is an elite passer with her combination of all those things. She might have a lot to learn still but she has promise. That’s for sure.
