Expert Analysis
Joel Webb | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
I would label Tavia an off-guard first because of her ability to score. She has good speed and handle, which allows her to beat defenders off the bounce to get downhill and score from either direction. She does do a great job of being unselfish and finding teammates when she isn’t being aggressive, looking for her own. Tavia shows a good range from the middy to the deep line as well. Solid defender with great instincts. Her hands are constantly active on the ball, which leads to steals and deflections.

Tavia’s athleticism sets her apart, as she can run and jump with the best of them, giving her an edge on both ends of the court. Offensively, her speed and explosiveness make her tough to stay in front of, constantly putting pressure on defenders. On defense, she uses that same quickness and strength to stay locked in, cutting off drives and contesting shots with relentless energy. Her ability to cover ground quickly and compete physically makes her a disruptive force who elevates her team with hustle and intensity every possession.
