Ella exhibited her versatility from the forward position and made an impact with her crowding defense, as well as with her offensive contributions. Ella was doing a lot of the little things that don’t always show up on the stat-sheet. She brought a dependability that her teammates could benefit from. Ella was able to stay on multiple players through switches and various other situations that required her to defend someone not at her position. She had an early block in the first period on that was nothing short of a statement.
