Another versatile performer that helps the Wolves take advantages of mismatches, Morris plays well off of her teammates. The sophomore likes exposing defenses slow to respect her range. She does so by being shot ready. It’s catch and shoot without wasted movement that allows opponents to react. The release is pure with arc and rotation leading to a soft touch. Morris can get downhill fast if there’s an advantage to be had off of the bounce and is strong off the dribble.

The Marion Wolves will return their main producers from a season ago to the varsity level but they will also return a lot of promising underclassmen and some new transfers that could play a vital role within their system. An individual out of their 2028 Class, who we will hear about more and more as she gets older is SG –

. Morris returns back this season at 5’6 with a balanced shooting stroke from deep. She is nice off the catch when she has space to let it fly but she can a lot cut and find open space behind the defense when the opportunities present themselves. All in all, I think the Wolves put together a better season than years past. If they work hard and their new faces play to their full capabilities, who knows where they might take things.

pulled out one of her best performances of her young career last night with a number of big buckets for the Wolves. Starting the game with a smooth midrange stepback in the first half, Morris surged for 10 points in the second to help push her team to overtime. She scored in different ways, too — rim running after a made bucket, hitting a trailer three pointer, and finished an and-1 drive from a shot fake on the perimeter. I loved Morris’ energy last night and how she stepped up with poise and toughness for her team.

“Morris plays between the 2, 3, and 4 positions when she is out on the court and that’s because she is still progressing as an overall prospect. Morris works hard to be someone that everyone can look up to. She competes at a high level with a positivity and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. At Marian, watch out for Morris the next few years. She could turn into something special right in front of our eyes.”
