Ellie, who is coming off winning a state championship with Marist, has had a very solid first half to the travel ball season with Team Elite Hubbard’s 15U 3SSB team, a group which features several players on this list. Recently, Ellie drew praise for her performance at Peach Games and deservedly so. She is one of the better shooters in her class in Georgia and with the departure of Naismith Palmer of the Year, Kate Harpring, I expect Warren to get a lot more playing time and scoring opportunities for the War Eagles. At nearly six feet tall Ellie did a very good job being active in the paint and scoring opportunistic baskets from effort alone during the regular season. She showed an ability to score wither back to the basket and on quick finishes under pressure at the rim as well. Long term Ellie has the potential to be one of the better players in her class if she maintains her consistency in offensive development and getting quicker moving laterally.
Warren scorched the nets this past weekend at the Peach Games. She connected on 7 triples in a single game and continued to show everyone why she is considered one of the best shooters in the state. A player that consistently works to get open without the basketball and has a quick release. Her 5’10 frame allows her to get her shot off over most defenders and also get to the rim with the midrange jumper. A player that has range and can get hot at the drop of a dime.
Warren was a force on Sunday. A player that played the whole game and wanted the ball in her hands. A 5’10 guard that has the ability to get to the basket with a floater and knock down the 3 ball. She had 12 points on Sunday but did all the little things on offense and defense. A player that you have to face guard because once it’s in her hands it’s hard to keep her from scoring. Knows how to find her spots in transition to score.
Warren is listed at 5-foot-10 so one would automatically assume that she is either a four or even a traditional five. While she has frontcourt height, she actually is listed as a guard, giving her a noticeable height advantage over many of her peers in the backcourt. Warren can set up offensively on the perimeter or possibly in the interior if needed. If she is in close proximity to the rim, Warren understands the importance of playing with her back to the basket. Warren does not shy away from physicality as she knows that can give her plenty of chances to help her team from the free throw line. She is coming off a 2025-26 season with Marist where her team defeated Kell to win the 4A state championship.
There is no denying that Ellie can score the ball. Her touch is pristine even if her shot can sometimes look unorthodox. Warren came in off the bench to score with a pair of jumpers – a short-range shot and a corner three. She finished with 5 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist. Her floor spacing is critical around Kate HarpringKateHarpring

. Warren is an intriguing prospect that will ascend as she fills into her body and diversifies her game.
Ellie did a little bit of everything in Marist’s win over North Oconee. She is matchup problem for defenses at 5’10 while being an excellent shooter from three-point range. Warren plays well off of star guard Kate HarpringKateHarpring

on offense as a catch and shoot stretch four. Warren gets and makes a lot of open shots due to the attention Harpring gets. Ellie handled the ball well under North Oconee’s full court pressure defense. Warren has the size and skill to be a very good rebounder in the future as well.
Ellie’s size, frame, and length stood out right away against her peers as a class of 2029 hooper. She knocked down multiple 3’s and was one of the best shooters in the gym with really nice form on her shot from deep. I was impressed with her ability to run the floor and actively move without the ball in her hands on offense by constantly cutting and keeping the defense working.
