Emily averaged 4.4 points per game during her freshman season for Hazard, and I had the chance to watch her on several occasions throughout the spring and summer and came away impressed with her game. She is a reliable perimeter shooter and continues to improve defensively. Emily picked up her first college offer from Alice Lloyd College last month and has the potential to put together a breakout sophomore season for the Lady Bulldogs.

Hazard sharpshooter Emily Higgins Emily Higgins 5'7" | SG Hazard | 2029 State KY has received her first college offer, coming from Alice Lloyd College. She made a name for herself throughout the spring/summer and is quickly emerging as a prospect to know in Kentucky’s Class of 2029.

Emily Higgins Emily Higgins 5'7" | SG Hazard | 2029 State KY has been making some noise this AAU season with ETA Williams 2029. She is a lethal outside shooter with parking lot range, and it takes her very little time to get her shot off. Emily has also shown she can put the ball on the floor and get into the for lane to score. She is a prospect I’m looking forward to getting more eyes on this summer and appears poised for a big sophomore season at Hazard.

Emily brings versatility and toughness every time she steps on the floor! She impacts the game on both ends by defending, scoring, and rebounding at a high level. Higgins continues to show why her future at Hazard is extremely bright!
