Emily Wierenga Emily Wierenga 6'2" | C Zeeland East | 2025 State MI protected the rim like it was her full-time job for MBA UA Rise 2025 at the MBA Mother’s Day Classic. She blocked many shot attempts on drives from help and on the ball. Emily denied entry passes into the low post very well and used her long arms to deflect the passes. She gained inside position on her defender with a strong seal then finished the lob for a left-handed layup. Emily demonstrated athleticism and control by catching a pass full speed then quickly transferring to her left to score a left-handed reverse.
