Emma O’Connor Emma O’Connor 6'0" | PF Westfield | 2024 State VA is another great two-way player here. The Concorde district is tough, and Westfield struggled as a team. People don’t give Emma the credit she deserves because of Westfield’s struggles over the past few years. Emma is a great defender in the paint and moves well. She can knock down open shots, put the ball on the floor, and attack the rim.

Without Emma O’Connor Emma O’Connor 6'0" | PF Westfield | 2024 State VA , Westfield would have seen themselves out of this game much earlier than they did. Emma was one of two people who scored for Westfield for most of this game. Emma knocked down jump shots, effectively put the ball on the floor, and got to the rim. Outside of leaving a few points on the foul line, Emma was about as good as you could ask of her on both ends.

At my center spot, I have Emma O’Connor Emma O’Connor 6'0" | PF Westfield | 2024 State VA . Emma has played on a Westfield team that was not very good last year. Emma is versatile and imposing on defense. Emma won defensive player of the year in a loaded Concorde District. Her length and positioning are elite, and she blocked a lot of shots last year. On offense, she can shoot well and does a good job getting to the rim. Her footwork out the post and facing up are both fantastic, and it allows her to get to the basket. Emma’s ranked pretty high, but I still don’t think enough people have seen her play. Hopefully, that changes this year.

A fundamentally sound player with good size that moves well. A true inside and outside threat, she can finish with either hand in the paint. Has a nice jab step that can get her to the rim and finish or create space to hit the three point shot. Great defender can guard the wing or the low post as well! Really good player that has not been seen enough but all the tools are there.

Emma O’Connor Emma O’Connor 6'0" | PF Westfield | 2024 State VA won DPOY in a fantastic Concorde district for a reason. Emma has tremendous length and moves well. She is consistently in a good position and understands where she needs to be effective as a defender. She either blocks or alters shots around the rim, and I see her repeating as Concorde district DPOY.

Emma O’Connor Emma O’Connor 6'0" | PF Westfield | 2024 State VA is a terrific defender and very mobile for her size. She has excellent instincts and is a great shot blocker. Westfield was a bad basketball team this season, so Emma got little attention. Playing with some more talent will help her grow her offensive game and, of course, help get some eyes on her.

One of the quiet gem’s of this spring and summer season. Emma is a good stretch four that does a good job guarding the post and perimeter. Has a good mid-range and three-point shot as well. She has no problem facing up to the basket for a dribble drive lay up! A very consistent player that needs to be seen by college coaches more!
