Rainey does a little bit of everything, but one of the main things she likes to do when she steps on the court is get her teammates involved. With her above-average dribble, she creates space well, which also helps open up space for her teammates. With this, she is good at seeing the floor and locating them. She displayed this in a game against Rhea County, where she had seven assists. In this same game, she also showed her defensive prowess by getting five steals.
When it comes to Rainey’s scoring ability, she can score in a multitude of ways, but shines especially in fast-break scenarios and with her jumper from the perimeter.

Rainey is the definition of impactful! What does that mean for Emma? “It involves a combination of dominant play, mental toughness, a relentless desire to improve, and making the right play.” In the win over Greeneville, Rainey scored 16 points, added 4 steals, and 4 assists. She continues to bring more to her team than any stat line. She holds offers to play soccer and basketball at the next level for a reason! Who ever lands this one at the next level is going to get a great one!

I love her attitude. I love her resilience. I love her effort. I love her game! She’s a tough dual sport athlete. She recently picked up offers from Johnson University, & King University. She also holds an offer to play soccer at the next level. Whatever Emma chooses to do at the next level, she will do it with her entire heart! Emma does a great job on defense. She always commits to stop her opponent, and help her teammates. She has a competitive spirit, and I love how she impacts the game! Every team needs an Emma on their side at the next level!

‘s game? She is always poised and under control. She is a mentally tough athlete that plays with all heart! A sequence of events went like this during the game against Spring Valley: Rainey drills a three, Rainey drops a beautiful dime, and Rainey hustles back on defense to deflect the ball and get another possession for her team! Emma is an efficient athlete that understands the game and makes the right play!

Emma is also a member of the extremely strong program at Bearden HS. She played significantrnVarsity minutes as a freshman. As a two-sport athlete at Bearden, Emma is part of a 2 State & 1rnNational Champion Soccer team in addition to her role on the basketball team that also went tornState and had a season record of 35-1. She was part of a winning basketball team in District,rnRegion and Sub-State. She is surrounded by winning cultures, and she exemplifies what itrnmeans to be a ME over we player. She was the recipient of the Knox County Character Awardrnand is a member of the National Junior Honor Society. (It is also important to note, she hasrnplayed for me since the 4 th grade which is just one example of her amazing loyalty andrndedication).
