Warren is a transfer from Louisiana, and she left a lasting first impression a couple of years ago when I caught her at a showcase see evaluation here and catching with her in Lake Dallas showed how much she had grown, both on and off the court see evaluations here She passes the so-called “eye test” with flying colors: “long and athletic” and just shy of “the magic number” but her court presence isn’t that of an average freshman, as she understands she can not only score from inside and outside, but take over games from either end
Warren’s name preceded her, so seeing her do damage in the 3-on-3; see evaluation here and telling me she wasn’t satisfied with her performance had me say, “I’m the evaluator; let it go” because she is going to be a heavy hitter in the state. Her UPS, the explosiveness off the dribble, and seeing her defy gravity and drop the jumper are next-level intangibles, but she also defends both inside and outside the paint, plays the passing lane, and “never takes a play off”
Warren’s name preceded her in a big way, so I was overexcited to see what she brought to the table from Louisiana. She immediately passed the so-called “eye test” and her being “long and athletic” was an issue for defenders. Her pull-up jumper is smooth; she also finishes strongly off the dribble, but she “follows her shot” comes out of nowhere to rebound and block shots, plays solid defense, as well as the passing lane

is a long, athletic forward with real upside in the Class of 2030. At 5’10, she impacts the game early with her ability to rebound on both ends and control space with her length.
Offensively, she shows flashes of versatility—handling the ball, attacking off the dribble, and finishing at the rim, including a smooth spin move. Defensively, she brings active pressure and energy, using her length to disrupt plays and compete on every possession.
With continued development in consistency and polish, E’Myrie has the tools to become a strong two-way impact player.
Warren is “long and athletic” which will always be the base so she gave me a good first look at her intangibles starting with her not only rebounding on both ends of the court but handling the ball afterward. She also did a good job attacking the basket to score off the dribble and showed a nice spin move to finish a few times. She showed good timing as she altered shots plus her “on the ball” pressure in the set as well as full court looked good
