Manhattan is a team I am going to attempt to scout this season. I want to get an up-close look at this Indian multi-sport prospect. I saw Banks play volleyball this fall and was impressed with her natural athleticism and competitive drive. She saw a limited role last season at the varsity basketball level for Manhattan. She played in just nine games, scoring 2.7 points per contest. She looks like a future paint monster to me, but time and my eyes will tell. Banks is ranked No. 18 overall by PGH.

I have not seen Banks play basketball, but I have seen her play volleyball twice this season. She is a physical specimen who moves well for her size. She could evolve into a net monster or paint monster, depending on who she wants to scare! She has recorded 50 kills and 15 blocks in her first 27 sets played this season. She will be an athlete to watch and could easily be cast in “Monsters Inc. III: Monsters In The Little Apple.”

is an emerging talent out of Manhattan who continues to show promising development. At 5’9″, she brings valuable length to the floor and pairs it with a smooth shooting stroke that extends well beyond the arc. Her ability to stretch the defense makes her a versatile offensive weapon. Heading into her sophomore year, Evie is a player to keep on your radar as she continues to refine her skills and elevate her overall game.

There’s everything to love about Banks game. She has a strong frame, has a high motor and high IQ. Countless times she has sets ran for her and she executed them by scoring and being patient instead of rushing a bad shot. What’s impressive about her is her footwork to use the ball fake and step throughs at the rim. She plays off of 2 feet which all the coaches will love at the next level.

Banks is the defensive anchor for this SSA team. She makes it difficult for the post players to get the ball and score every trip down. Once she secures the rebound she gets a quick outlet and sprints the floor that usually leads to a lay up in her favor. If she gets beat she recovers and make up for it with a blocked shot. There’s an offensive play set that’s ran for her and she scores it every time with that step through lay up on the block.
