Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I’m a point guard who loves getting my team involved and making plays. I see the floor well, keep the game moving, and try to make smart decisions under pressure. Whether it’s setting someone up for a shot or taking it myself when we need it, I’m all about doing what helps the team.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I'm humble, but I know what I bring to the table. I love helping others and lifting up my teammates. I stay positive, work hard, and lead when it’s needed—on and off the court. I’m always trying to grow, listen, and be the kind of person others can count on.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Outside of playing, I love helping my parents with their youth basketball skills development program. In my free time, I mentor younger girls and enjoy being a positive role model for them. It means a lot to me to give back and share what I’ve learned. Being part of something bigger than just my own game has helped me grow as a leader and a person.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve built leadership skills by helping organize group projects and club activities. I’ve also learned teamwork through school assignments and sports, where I’ve learned to listen, share ideas, and support others. Volunteering at The Boys & Girls Club of Polk County helped me give back to my community and grow more confident.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Yes, being the fourth of six siblings and having older sisters who also played basketball, I’ve faced the challenge of finding my own path. It wasn’t always easy stepping out of their shadow, but over time I’ve learned to focus on my own goals, work hard, and grow into the player and person I want to be.
What type of college are you looking for?
Since I’ll only be turning 17 when I graduate, I’m looking for a junior college (JUCO) where I can have more time to grow—both on the court and personally. I want a place that will help me keep developing my basketball skills while also adjusting to college life.
