The tallest and most powerful prospect that this 2030 Class has to offer is Gentry Thummel of Van Meter High School. Thummel will walk into her Freshman year above 6’2 with the muscle mass to pair along with it. At her height she is someone that happens to be extremely coordinated, she possesses a soft touch on the ball with her back to the basket or from 15FT away, she can spread the floor and hit shots off the catch from three point lane, and she is a defender that you definitely have to know about if you are playing against her team. She knows to keep an eye on help side and her height can somewhat be deceiving when you get into the middle of the lane. I expect this to be someone that moves around the Top Five for the 2030 Class throughout her career. She is going to put up some impressive numbers this Winter and that will be only the tip of the iceberg.
