Relocating to the corner behind the three-point line, you’ll more than likely find Oehler ready to shoot. The 5’9 wing truly knows how to take over the arc. When she gives the ball to a teammate, Grace relocates while her defense has eyes on the ball, allowing her to find an opening on the perimeter, receive the skip pass and knock down a shot. Her consistency around the arc, and especially in the deep corner spots, really stood out on Sunday. Not only is she dynamite at the 3-point line, but the Minneapolis Southwest sophomore is constantly moving and creating actions on offense to get her teammates open. She’s a team player and a clear asset from long-range.

Grace is a really strong shooter, an asset she demonstrated early in the proceedings on Sunday with a smooth corner three. She also attacked the rim, and showed off her improved defense and rebounding. After varsity minutes as an 8th grader, she looks poised for a breakout season. We’re told Grace is a real gym rat, the kind of player who wants to get better and is doing the work to accomplish that goal. Her shooting ability, and intensity make her an emerging player to watch.
