Gracie is an athletic forward who is quickly climbing the ladder in this class. She can do it all on both ends and appears to be getting better all the time. At the recent prep girls hoops Top Prospects Expo in Sioux Falls, SD, she stood out as one of the best athletes at the event even amongst elite talent. She scored off the drive, knocked down threes, and created mid-range opportunities off the dribble as well. On defense she makes hustle plays all game long as a shot blocker, grabbing steals, and shutting down her opponent time and time again. A high quality rebounder who can then put the ball on the floor and push the transition game, this young lady is a high-level player who has a huge impact on the game.

We featured Gracie recently as a top prospect who has a great blend of size and athleticism. She has excellent movement at her height and is the type of post player who can get it done in a variety of ways. Now with state tournament experience I look for Gracie to develop into a double-double machine and one of the best shot blockers in this class.

Gracie has a great blend of size and athleticism. At 5’11” she has the build to succeed in the paint and the movement abilities to hold her own on the perimeter as well. In a class that lacks a lot of size, Salter should be on radars as a post player that can move and get a lot done on the court. With more opportunity look for Gracie to expand her game and continue to increase her stock heading into her junior season. A future double-double machine and shot blocker, Salter is a name to keep on your radar.
