The Minnetonka lineup is as deep as it gets in high school basketball so we are never surprised when an unheralded Skipper shows off some notable chops even if she isn’t a household name. That’s what Greta did at the Sophomore ID Camp. Swendseid isn’t known for any one particular strength in her game, but is a well-rounded competitor who does a variety of things effectively. Going left, she is deadly, with a quick first step, a couple of go-to moves and the ability to finish consistently with her left hand. She is also a good shooter who can get hot on a moment’s notice. We liked her energy level and effort, too. Greta is a good help defender and her on-ball defense has improved. It could be awhile before Swendseid works her way up the ‘Tonka food chain but it’s likely to happen in due course.
