+2 – The 6’2 guard took a leap of faith this year moving from Rochester John Marshall to Minnetonka where the competition is tougher, the expectations are higher and the learning curve is steep. It turned out to be an outstanding decision for Jazmin’s prospects as a college basketball player. Although her season has ended prematurely due to a painful case of shin splints, Daing proved this winter that she could do it all at a high level. Jazmin is a high-major prospect who now moves up two places to #5.

As a top-10 prospect in the sophomore class, it’s no surprise that the John Marshall guard from Rochester put on a show at the ID Camp. That’s just what she does. Standing 6-foot-1, with tremendous length and athleticism, Jazmin will often execute a show-stopping move and somehow make it look completely effortless. In addition to her physical prowess, Daing is incredibly skilled and has a strong understanding of the game. She has a tight handle on the ball, can score at multiple levels, and is an outstanding shot blocker. Jazmin kept things pretty simple on Sunday, sticking to the stuff she does best, which resulted in a well-rounded and extremely effective performance. Given that she’s already garnering plenty of attention from Division 1 college coaches, don’t be surprised if Jazmin’s is a name you hear a lot in the coming years.
