Much like her high school teammate, Kaelee Hansen Kaelee Hansen 5'11" | SF/PF Elk River | 2028 State MN , Johnson was a significant contributor for Elk River in her sophomore season. The 6-foot power forward averaged 6.1 points per contest and earned an Northwest Suburban All-Conference honorable mention. This summer with the Minnesota Comets , Izzy showcased her soft touch around the rim, ability to fight through contact, and used her immense length to create a positive impact on defense. Steadily improving year after year, Johnson is one of the most underrated prospects in the class of 2028.

Johnson is a tremendous athlete for her size, running the floor well and playing with really quick feet on the defensive end. She’s a confident shooter off the catch or bounce, sees the floor well off penetration and has great feel for the game. She attacks the ball off the glass and has the ability to push the pace in transition. Johnson’s potential is sky high with the combination of her physical tools and growing skillset.
