About Jada
Expert Analysis
Jill Dunn | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Jada continues to impress with her versatility and athleticism. Her length on the perimeter allows her to get her hands on a lot of balls that lead to deflections and stills. Then, she is more than likely getting two points at the other end. She finishes through contact and spends a lot of her time at the FT line due to her aggressiveness. Jada is verbally committed to Mars Hill University.

The Chambliss sister act that is a key element of Clover’s success will be heading to the Asheville area – Mars Hill to be exact. She and sister Julienne were both offered by the Lions in late August. Her career also included time at Fort Mill prior to her current run with the Blue Eagles. Chambliss also greatly helped her team’s efforts last season en route to that stellar 23-3 record. She stands at 5-foot-8. A name that was on hand at Rock Hill earlier in the month at the Prep Girls Hoops Expo, Chambliss has her sights set on making her senior season her best yet.

Lately, we have become accustomed to the Chambliss sisters of 5A Division 1 Clover receiving offers from the same school. The theme changed recently as Jada would secure a couple of offers from Mars Hill and Bluefield State. Chambliss ran with EA Lady Stars Bridges/Team KB Bridges during her final go-round in grassroots ball. She recently made an appearance at the Prep Girls Hoops Carolinas Expo in Rock Hill. With her AAU career in the rear view mirror, Chambliss can focus on the upcoming season where the Blue Eagles look to re-establish themselves as state contenders in the 5A Division 1 realm. After all, coach Shakkia Walker’s Clover team was 23-3 last year and only graduated one senior.

The 2024-25 version of 5A Division 1 Clover concluded the season with a 22-3 record. With Chambliss as part of the veteran core for coach Shakkia Walker’s Blue Eagles, one can expect that Clover will again be one of the teams to beat in 5A Division 1. Chambliss does not shy away from contact as she knows it can place her at the free throw line. Another key element to Chambliss’ game is that she does not give up on a play and places plenty of emphasis on doing the little things that may not always show up on a stat sheet.

The Blue Eagles of 5A Division 1 Clover made its presence known this past weekend in Florence. Chambliss’ most recent offers were courtesy of Davis & Elkins and Montreat and her grassroots campaign was spent with EA Lady Stars Bridges/Team KB Bridges. A 3-point shot is one element of her overall skillset and another element of it is her ability to make smart passes – including in the transition game. That is complimented by what she can do when she attacks the basket. While she can be placed in a lineup at either the point or at the three in the frontcourt, Chambliss’ bread and butter is as a two guard. She was part of Team Leath this past weekend.

The Oliver twins at 5A Division 2 Greenwood are used to landing dual offers and that recently was the case as well with Clover’s twin sister act. Not only did Julie receive an offer from Montreat, but Jada secured one as well. She, as was the case with Julie, also was offered by Davis & Elkins last month in the latter portions of club ball. She also had a massive role to play in the Blue Eagles’ stellar campaign they put together last season. Chambliss is listed at 5-foot-8 and primarily operates as a two guard in the backcourt. Given the team she is on and the talent she possesses, she is also is more than poised to finish her high school career with an exclamation point.

Clover has consistently been among the class of the 5A field the past several seasons – including last season when the Blue Eagles posted a 23-3 record. Chambliss stands at 5-foot-8 and is a product of the E.A. Lady Stars program. If Chambliss is behind the 3-point arc with the ball in her hand and space around her, she is likely to attempt – and connect – on said try from deep. Chambliss is also effective in the transition game and can corral steals as well. She is a reason why the Blue Eagles will likely be a dangerous bunch once again when the 2025-26 season arrives.

Jada made the move over to Clover HS this past summer after attending Fort Mill HS. Jada really plays well in the passing lanes and really understands how to pick up deflections. She was able to finish at the rim here today on some transition breaks. Jada is a athletic and rangy guard who will be a great addition to the Lady Blue Eagles roster this season.

Jada was a nice addition to the Blue Eagles roster this off season. She came over from nearby Fort Mill HS. Jada moves up from #60 to #31 in this latest up of Stock-Risers. Jada a rangy athletic guard can really look to make plays for herself on the floor from time to time. She constantly plays active on both ends of the court and especially well away from the ball.
Can the Blue Eagles make some noise in the Upstate this season?
