I was able to see Jadyn during both “live” weekends in July, and she looked so much more aggressive this past weekend. She has a lot of good qualities in her game, and I think she is still somewhat under the radar as a recruit/prospect. She is strong, physical, and she plays with a nice motor. She has a quiet toughness to her, and she won’t back down from anyone, but she also isn’t an instigator. Skillfully, she can shoot the ball from the perimeter with accuracy, put it on the floor and drive it North/South, and she can use her strength to post inside. I think her best days are still to come.

I have been a fan of Jadyn’s game since between her 8th Grade and Freshman year, and it seems like she has been the victim of circumstance, entering Floyd Central when they are at the peak of their talent. This season, however, could be a standout year for the forward. She is strong and seeks contact, she can box out, defend, and play with a steady demeanor. She’s also comfortable and skilled around the perimeter where she can knock down open 3-pointers consistently. I think she can be a really nice small college face-up ‘4’ who will also get inside to rebound/defend.

Jadyn is in a situation of opportunity, and I feel like she could really stand out as a Senior. Last year, she played a nice role for the Highlanders, but she also played behind talented graduates like Brinley Clark and Elise Coleman, plus 6-2 classmate Riley Roberts Riley Roberts 6'2" | C Floyd Central | 2027 State IN . But I think Jadyn has the tools to be a difference-maker this time around. She is strong, she’s a nice all-around athlete, she plays with a motor, plus she is versatile. She is willing to go inside and use her physicality to her advantage, often finishing with nice post moves. At the same time, she is a threat to shoot it from 3-point range.

With the rise and success of the Floyd Central program, Jadyn has found herself on a deep team behind other talented players at times. But her Senior season she could turn from role player into go-to interior scorer. She has a nice combination of strength, skill, and athleticism. She is very physical on the interior, she does a nice job of establishing herself on the block, sealing her defender, and scoring with either hand in a variety of moves. But she can also consistently shoot it from 3-point range, and she’s athletic off the bounce. Additionally, she’s a versatile defender, inside or out.

I have always been pretty high on Jadyn, because I think she has some tools and has just flown well under the radar for some time now. She has broad shoulders and some strength, but she’s also long at her height, and she’s a nice all-around athlete. She plays with a motor, physicality, and toughness, plus she moves around the perimeter like a wing. She does have a little ball skill and the ability to knock down the occasional perimeter jumper, but she is also highly effective inside the arc. I’d look for her to play her most impactful role yet for Floyd next Winter, due to graduation losses.
