Jaliyah Farmer Jaliyah Farmer 5'7" | PG Evansville Harrison | 2029 State IN brings an explosive offensive game that has made her one of the top young players to watch in southern Indiana. The Evansville Harrison standout plays with great pace and aggression, allowing her to constantly pressure defenses. Farmer excels at attacking the basket and using her quickness to create scoring opportunities in the paint.
In addition to her ability to finish around the rim, she has also shown the ability to score from the perimeter, making her a difficult player to defend. Her athleticism and motor allow her to thrive in transition, where she can quickly turn defense into offense. Farmer’s energy and offensive versatility continue to separate her from many players in the 2029 class, and her upside remains extremely high moving forward.

The Freshman group of guards is really good thus far, and Jaliyah might be one of the best and one of the least known at this point. She is a talented athlete, she plays with a toughness, but she is also smooth and creative. She is a willing passer/playmaker, she can get downhill in a hurry, and she’s an outstanding defender. For Harrison, she averaged 13.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, 7.0 assists, and 6.0 steals per game, showing she can bring it at both ends of the floor. She does a nice job of playing low and compact, and she is only going to become more efficient these next three years.

When we first add a class to the site in the Summer before their Freshman year, up until about midway through their Sophomore year, we ask fans to be patient while we make sure no one was omitted from this talented state. Jaliyah is a perfect example. When we release our first true “rankings” for the class of 2029 in March, she will likely find herself high on that list, yet this is her first appearance on the watch list. She is an explosive, athletic, and highly impactful young guard who affects the game in a variety of ways. Her 14.0 point, 7.7 rebound, 6.9 assist, 6.2 steal-per-game stat line is incredibly impressive for such a young guard at this level. Look for her on the grassroots circuit this Spring.
