Jania Ervin Jania Ervin 5'4" | PG/CG San Jose Prep | 2026 FL was the X Factor in the Regional Finals against Providence. The young guard was ferocious on defense and did a good job of defending some of the top guards in the State (Loux and Davey). Utilizing Erving’s athleticism, speed, and quickness on the boards were part of the game plan. Ervin passed the test and also provided an offensive spark as well (10 points, including 6 points in the 4th) to hold off Providence.

She shot it well from the perimeter, handled the ball cleanly, defended multiple positions, and made smart decisions within the offense. Not flashy, but consistently productive—Irvin impacts the game on both ends and finds ways to score in transition and in the half-court. Ervin does a good job of bringing calmness to the back-court and contributing in anyway she can.

She capitalizes on turnovers and quickly turns defense into offense. Offensively, she is no slouch either — she can handle the ball in tight spaces and knock down the three off the catch. She can control the game when needed or play off the ball and still score effectively.
