Myricks is a consistent scorer and playmaker with the ability to corral her own rebound in case of a miss. That offensive board will likely result in her converting on her second-chance point opportunity. Myricks knows how to outhustle her competition, brings a fearless attitude to every game she plays and maintains a high motor at all times on the floor. Myricks is representing Notre Dame on this year’s TVEA Adidas Gold assembling.

Myricks, in her freshman season with Notre Dame High School, was getting steals in games regularly. Myricks, with the pressure she creates on her defensive assignment, often forces them to pick up their dribble. After this happens, Myricks then does a good job at blocking the number one pass option for her opponent. These scenarios often end with Myricks picking off a pass in the passing lane and starting a fast break. In a game against Silverdale Baptist Academy this season, Myricks recorded seven steals.

Myricks also excels in fast-break scenarios. She has great vertical speed and can score layups more than comfortably with both her dominant and non-dominant shooting hand.

Javeah Myricks is a long, athletic wing with a high ceiling and strong two-way potential. She’s a three-level scorer who can impact the game from the perimeter, mid-range, and at the rim. Myricks uses her length and athleticism to create advantages offensively. She plays with confidence and shows flashes of being a consistent scoring threat. Defensively, her length allows her to disrupt passing lanes and contest shots. As a two-way player, she brings value on both ends with her versatility.
