Jayla immediately made an impact, grabbing an offensive rebound and converting a putback bucket on the very first possession I saw. She stayed active on the glass throughout the game and also showed her hustle by diving on the floor for a loose ball after creating a deflection defensively. Offensively, she displayed versatility with a nice back-to-the-basket turnaround over-the-shoulder finish and also showed the ability to stretch the floor with a high release on her outside shot when left open. Her length was a major factor defensively, allowing her to block shots and disrupt passing lanes consistently.

Defensively, she blocks shots and brings constant energy – the definition of a workhorse-glue player.
