Borders returned just before the Owl’s post-season run and it could not have been more timely. In a heartbreaking, quarterfinals overtime loss to Wichita Heights she was a major factor in the Owls rally to get to overtime and nearly win the game, helping put the Falcons on their heels in crucial moments. Borders nearly put up a double-double in 21 minutes of play. She showed solid speed, great hands, strength in the paint and headiness on both ends.
