Expert Analysis
Darvoni Christopher | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Beaderstadt continues trending upward as a young center prospect because of her size, strength, and ability to control the paint. She consistently impacted games this spring with her rebounding and interior defense. Her instincts around the basket allow her to position herself well, and she showed the ability to secure rebounds in traffic against quality competition.
Offensively, Beaderstadt showed flashes of touch in the post and competed hard for second-chance scoring opportunities. She uses her body effectively around the rim and plays with a physical edge that makes her difficult to move inside. Defensively, she anchors the paint well and competes with toughness. What makes her especially intriguing is that she already brings consistent value defensively while still having room to continue developing offensively. As her confidence and scoring package continue improving, she has the potential to become a very reliable post player. College coaches should already be keeping tabs on her progression because of her physical tools and interior presence.

Jill is a strong and physical forward prospect who had a solid day for Team 4 at the Sophomore ID Camp. A post who can shoot is a premium at the next level, and Jill knocked down many perimeter jumpers with confidence during the shooting drills. Jill had a very productive day rebounding the basketball and did an excellent job establishing good positioning inside to present a target. She made adjustments to catch post-entry passes, set strong screens for shooters, and scored a soft finish without the backboard after rolling to the basket. Jill battled inside to secure offensive rebounds and had multiple put-backs off two feet. She swished a straightaway triple, scored a strong and-one layup, and earned trips to the free throw line. Jill showed mental toughness by not reacting to the lack of foul calls inside. She continued to go about her business.

Jillian is a nice, traditional post in Indiana’s 2028 class, and I think she will have a lot of long-term value for the next level as well. She has a strong, powerful frame, she can play bully ball inside and overpower opponents, but she also has nice hands, solid footwork, and can make post moves, or she can slide up to the mid-post and knock down the 15-footer consistently. If she ends up growing another inch or two, watch out!

Jillian is a traditional post prospect who could very well find some minutes on the Lake Central Varsity squad this Winter. She has a solid frame that will continue to get stronger, possibly even overpowering. She has nice length, she plays hard, and she runs the floor North/South well. She has some skill with her back to the basket, plus she does a nice job of keeping possessions alive. I think as she continues to build her skill facing the basket, she could be a good one.
