About Jordyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Aggressive defender, able to score from all spots on the floor. Like to play a fast paced, high energy game. Knows how to get to the rim and also has a great outside shot with depth. Will never give up and very coachable, with a high basketball IQ. Looks to involve teammates at every chance.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Hard working, very coachable, focused on always growing/improving; I've never "arrived"- there's always something to work on and get better at. I am very social and love to laugh, and I am also fiercely loyal to my people.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have volunteered with our partner elementary school to spend time with younger kids and mentor them. I'm also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I can be very intense and competitive when I play, so I have worked hard to understand how that comes across to my teammates so that I can best lead them in a way that inspires and fosters a positive team atmosphere. I work hard to be an encourager and bring positive energy to my team so that everyone feels supported and cheered on.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to find a program that I can contribute to, with a supportive and challenging coach, a close knit team, where I can get an education that will serve me well after basketball is over.
