Kamiera played with a lot of energy and seemed to move a step faster than most of the players on the court. Her shot looked like she has been putting in a lot of work, as she knocked down deep three-pointers even with defenders getting a hand in her face. She also showed the ability to play under control at full speed, coming to a balanced stop and knocking down the pull-up jumper off the dribble. Her combination of pace, shooting range, and control made her difficult to contain.

She has a lethal mid-range and can be a secondary ball handler. Now in her third year of high school she will have even more responsibility on a loaded but still young team!

Kamiera is one of the best on-ball defenders you’ll find at the high school level. Her length gives her the versatility to match up with forwards at the 3–4, while her quick feet allow her to slide and contain guards in the backcourt.

What stood out most from events like The Governor’s Challenge and GLP’s Mixer is her discipline—she defends at a high level without putting herself in foul trouble. That combination of defensive versatility, footwork, and control makes her a true difference-maker on that end of the floor.

Kamiera is a player who consistently impacts the game without needing the ball on either end of the floor. Defensively, she was tasked throughout the game with guarding the opponent’s top offensive threat, showcasing her ability to defend anyone in the open court. Her defensive pressure frequently ignited transition opportunities for Bishop Ireton and for herself. Fresh off a great ArtTurner showcase where she helped her team defeat the number 24 team in the nation. A good young talented guard who can score and defend at a high level. She plays with good energy and activity has really good size for a guard that looks like that game is still growing.

Kamiera Willis Kamiera Willis 5'8" | SG Bishop Ireton | 2028 State VA was outstanding on both ends for Bishop Ireton. She competed on defense, and she knocked down a handful of threes. She was clutch down their stretch, and her shooting was part of why Ireton started to run away with it against Christ the King. Kamiera is another underclassman for one of the most promising teams in the DMV. Kamiera was as good as any perimeter defender I saw this weekend, and she had 15 points against Christ the King.

One of the many young really good prospects on this Bishop Ireton team. One of the better defenders on the court was able to get a key block and create steals to get easy layups. Did a good job starting the transition break and finding her teammates for easy layups and was able to hit the three-point shot!

Good ball-handling skills that helps her to navigate through defenders and create scoring opportunities for herself and teammates. Moves with fluidity and agility on the court, utilizing her athleticism to evade defenders and drive to the basket effectively. A young player that will play a national schedule and gain some great experience!
