Prep Girls Hoops Lead Scout

There were only a couple of true post players at camp and Justice excelled all day long on Saturday. She was able to finish over either shoulder on the block and showed potential as a pick and roll option, especially when the passes were good and not thrown at her feet. Lane will need to keep improving lateral foot speed in order to be switch-able on defense. She’s certainly a name to track, long term.

I wasn’t able to see as much of Justice as I did some of the other players, but in the game I did watch, she made a strong impression. She used her size and strength effectively to establish deep position on the low block and made herself available for entry passes. She also protected the basket on defense and ran the floor well.

I ran into Justice Lane Justice Lane 6'1" | PF/C Campbellsville | 2029 State KY during the AAU season last summer and couldn’t believe she was only an 8th grader. She is very agile and athletic for her size and she runs the floor hard. Justice knows clog the paint on defense and how to get tall to protect the rim and avoid foul trouble. She is so strong and physical that it is difficult to gain position against her in the post. Justice has soft hands, scores well at the rim and I like the way she outmuscles and rips down rebounds.
