ETA Thunder ’27 (Walden) fought back from almost 20 down to beat a tough Team KMA ’27 Carter! The entire team deserves credit for pulling off this comeback. I witnessed the fight in each athlete; Skylar Walden Skylar Walden 5'8" | PG The Kings Academy | 2027 TN , Cailyn Taylor Cailyn Taylor 5'8" | SG Webb School Of Knoxville | 2027 TN , Tait Harvey Tait Harvey 5'7" | SG AC Reynolds | 2027 State NC , Nia Carr, Brooke Kesey Brooke Kesey 5'11" | PF F.C. Boyd Christian School | 2027 TN , Olivia Loveday Olivia Loveday 5'8" | SF The King's Academy | 2027 TN , Maggie Townsend Maggie Townsend 5'8" | PG Sevier County | 2027 TN , Ivy Napier, & Katie Bechtel Katie Bechtel 5'7" | SG F.C. Boyd Christian School | 2027 TN . The defensive effort by all of these athletes is what you call remarkable. Below is a few of the athletes:
Walden stepped up huge knocking down big time 3’s. The freshman stayed poised even when things looked like they could be falling a part. Skylar did lead the young team in scoring. She is used to coming up in big moments offensively. Today, we have to talk about how great she was on defense! She was completely engaged and bought in. She communicates effectively with her teammates! I think we all get so impressed with her offensive output sometimes, we forget how good she is on the defensive side of the ball too! The high level athlete continues to put on HUGE performances!
Highlights
Brooke came up huge moment after moment! She pulled down a great defensive rebound to draw a foul on her opponent. She gets down the floor and in position to score! After that, she picks up a huge offensive rebound with a nice put back! She rebounds exceptionally well! On a day when her team needed every inch of her height and size, she was there! I’m excited to continue to watch this one grow in every aspect of the game!
Highlights
She’s a defensive monster! The best defender that I continue to watch. I don’t think that I can mention Taylor’s name without mentioning her stellar defense! One of the best offensive moments today was watching her draw a tough foul and finish through contact! This freshman is going to continue to impress everyone that is watching her!

Brooke Parker
Brooke Parker
Despite the loss to ETA Thunder Walden, Parker was impressive! She stepped out and hit numerous long balls. I don’t think that one made shot hit the rim. She has great length & size for her position! She may be an athlete on the court that you would consider position-less at times. She is a freshman with tremendous upside!
When you watch TN Flight Trotters Heifner, you will be completely impressed! Two games equals two wins! Heifner’s squad is one that is extremely talented! Recruit Jordan White Jordan White 5'4" | PG Northview Academy | 2025 State TN , Megan Loudermilk, Cloey Wade Cloey Wade 6'0" | C South-Doyle | 2025 State TN , Adison Howard Adison Howard 5'8" | PG Stone Memorial | 2025 State TN , Kady Hopkins Kady Hopkins 5'10" | SG Clarkrange | 2025 State TN , Delaney Weddington Delaney Weddington 5'10" | SG Morristown-Hamblen West | 2025 State TN , Shylee Shelton Shylee Shelton 5'9" | SF Cosby | 2025 State TN , Jada Sanders Jada Sanders 5'7" | SG Boyd-Buchanan | 2025 State TN , and Jenna Johnson Jenna Johnson 5'11" | C Oak Ridge | 2025 State TN ! I am not sure if I have enough room or boxes to show how good this team is! Below are a few of the standout performances:
It’s the first live period, and Delaney is going to make sure college coaches leave the court knowing her name! I’m not a coach, but I made plenty of notes for any that want to reach out about this athlete! She is a next level athlete and if you are waiting to pull the trigger on this one, I don’t know why. She can score in bunches & in various ways. She can hit the mid-range or the long ball. She also finishes at the rim strong & great with either hand! She plays off two feet, and she can play off one if that’s what would be needed. Honestly, she is a really good, fundamentally sound player that plays with a non-stop motor. Offer this one now!
After watching the first game live, I was left by no surprise when I seen the stat line at the end of the night that Jenna had back to back double-doubles. Johnson may not be “flashy” to some, but she is efficient. She continues to make a double-double look like it’s a piece of cake! Yes, she is a next level athlete and her games translates in every aspect to the next level. I love every part of Jenna’s game. I love the passion, the grit, the non-stop effort, and the list could go on. This one is truly special, & when you get the opportunity to watch her play, don’t miss out!

White is one of the best passers that you are going to find. Did she set an Apache Memorial record in assists? In the first game, White tallied 6 assists. SIX? That wasn’t good enough for Jordan. She follows up the next game with 11 assists. Yes, you read that correctly. I say it every single time that I mention Jordan and I am saying it again, “If you are open, White will find you.” I love how Jordan sees the court, eyes are always up. She drops numerous no look passes, and catches defenders off guard every time that she is on the court! If you want a leader, an elite point guard, ring up Jordan White Jordan White 5’4″ | PG Northview Academy | 2025 State TN ‘s phone ASAP!

Imagine an AAU team having two elite point guards. Well, TN Flight Trotters Heifner has exactly that! Howard is an elite passer! I love guards that play the game the right way, and you will find that in Howard! Adison has very few turnovers, as she is a great ball protector! Remember, “Leaders are like point guards, we set people up to score.” Adison will put her teammates in position to score! This one is going to continue to impress during the live period & forward!

TN Flight Trotters 2026 was also impressive during their first game! I made a tweet that stated, “Recruit the entire team.” The athletes that make up this team; Bailey Tidwell Bailey Tidwell 5'6" | PG TKA | 2026 State TN , Addi Gamble Addi Gamble 5'6" | SG Clinton | 2026 State TN , Gwen Carroll Gwen Carroll 5'10" | SF Alcoa | 2025 State TN , Katie Foster, Dvdaya Swimmer, Emma Cooper Emma Cooper 6'1" | PF York Institute | 2026 State TN , Taylor Delonte, Adison Hayes Adison Hayes 5'10" | SG Grainger | 2026 State TN , Raylee Werner Raylee Werner 5'8" | SG York Institute | 2026 State TN , and Lanee Carmichael Lanee Carmichael 5'10" | C Clinton | 2026 State TN !
Even when Emma Cooper Emma Cooper 6’1″ | PF York Institute | 2026 State TN is not getting a ton of touches, she finds ways to always impact the basketball game. I still think that she sets the best & hardest screens on opponents! She looks more comfortable every time she takes the court. She has a great touch around the rim and if she ever has to guard a player that is inches taller than her, she will hold her own and still dominate! She’s a young sophomore with one of the brightest futures ahead!

So many athletes played tremendous today! Will there be a part 3? TBD!
