I didn’t see Kai at first, perhaps she showed up late but she made her presence felt from her first shot a catch and shoot three from the wing. She was terrific in the open court driving hard for finishes. She made one three while eyeing the scorers table surprising everyone on the court. She rebounded and defended well and was definitely one of the best players in the building.

Kai was a handful for anyone guarding her today. She showed off her range by knocking down multiple three pointers. When teams closed out she was able to punish them with her mid range game where she shot over defenders, and with some strong finishes at the rim. Very strong performance today.

Kai looked pretty good taking over as the lead option at Riverdale Baptist. She played and defended multiple positions. She had a nice step over three pointer, she drove well and used the floater nicely and looked good turning and facing from the high post for the jumper. She had a big 19 point performance against the Miller School. She went down in her last game with a leg injury and didn’t return. We will keep track on her return.

Kai has the offensive skills to play at the collegiate level as she came off the bench and quickly put up five points from a wing three and smooth floater as she entered the paint within minutes, showing off her multi-level scoring ability all weekend.
More importantly Kai showed off her value as a two-way player being able to defend multiple positions. Within the weekend she able to create a strong stat line on why she is ready for the next level. Kai finished with 5 assists, 13 rebounds, and 9 steals.

Kai looked a little more mature than the other players on the court and was extremely physical. Her physicality got her to the line on multiple occasions. She had some really nice plays and some tough finishes which left me wanting to see a lot more.

Kai is a capable scorer from all over the floor, she was one of the teams leading scorers at DMV Live. She brings good size and athleticism to the guard spot; her 5’9 frame allows her to match up with multiple positions. A capable three point shooter whether it’s a spot up or transition! A very versatile defender with her athleticism she is capable of guarding multiple positions!
