Maggie showed off her athleticism and shooting touch in this showcase and took home the MVP award for her team. She scored a team high 14 points and did all of her work in the paint. She showed off pull ups and floaters while using a tricky handle and explosive first step to get by defenders. Good way to start the spring off.

Maggie showed great poise against fierce competition on Saturday. Despite often being picked up full court, she remained under control while keeping her head up. In the half-court, Maggie prefers to operate from the top of the key, where she uses her size and feel for the game to create opportunities and get to her pull-up spots. Look for Maggie to make a major jump over the summer as she will playing up in the AAU circuit.

Sharp shooting two guard that can handle some point guard duties when necessary. Excellent athlete with speed and quickness. She should be able to get Wilde Lake to the next round with her overall impact on the game.

Maggie controlled the game with her ability to score at all three levels. In the half-court setting, she consistently created offense by getting to the basket, drawing contact, and finishing through defenders. When given space, she showed confidence and efficiency from beyond the arc, using her height to shoot over closeouts. In transition, she remained poised and unselfish, scanning the floor and making decisions with her teammates in mind while still being a scoring threat.

Maggie is a multi-sport natural athlete, and her poise on the court reflects it. She took the reins as a freshman at Wilde Lake and now aims to elevate her impact as a sophomore in the MPSSAA. With her height and versatility as a combo guard, she uses her length and skill well in half-court sets. If she continues on this trajectory, she could find herself in the conversation for MPSSAA Player of the Year.
