LaCour has me closing it out like I opened the articles up with #sizedontmatter, and from the moment I saw her pre-high school, I knew she was going to create problems on both ends of the court. She has become a legitimate threat on one of the sleeper teams in the city, and as the playoffs are right around the corner, I foresee big plays coming see evaluations here

Lacour has shown me she can stand out in various settings, see evaluations here, but watching her shoot the ball with confidence from anywhere on the court, while being defended, JUST DID IT for me. Her range has gotten deeper, her “catch and shoot” has gotten better, and so has her court vision

LaCour is showing signs of being a “nightmare to defend” because she understands how to put the ball in the basket in a variety of ways. Yeah, she saw the floor in the set as well as in transition but watching her attack to score or pass looked very good. Her “stop and pop” jumper was smooth but her “catch and shoot” from deep was even smoother

LaCour is another #sizedontmatter guard when plenty of upside because she not only knows the game, she thinks and that was apparent early see evaluation here She was also one of the Top Performers at the PGH Freshman Showcase see evaluations here

Kyana is a standout athlete who delivered an all-star performance. She froze defenders with her Hezi/float finish and knocked down shots at every level. As a point guard, she does everything possible to ensure her team capitalizes on every possession. I have no doubt LaCour will be making her name known at Manvel in the very near future.

LaCour was yet another #sizedontmatter guard who continues to show “on the court” progression and that showed in the “3 on 3” see evaluation here. She sets the defender up smoothly to attack the basket and score, her body control helps her finish after the lick yet her range keeps getting deeper as she drops it from mid to long. I also noticed her “catch and shoot” with a hand in her face but let me not leave out her “stop and pop” in transition. Court vision across the board, check, on-the-ball defense, double check.

Lacour gave me a lot during the 3-on-3 but even more during the 5 on 5 and having seen her multiple times before the event has me smiling about progression as well as upside. Her pull-up jumper was nice and since she could attack and score, it kept the defender guessing yet her quick release made the “catch and shoot” look easy
