is an elite three-level, two-way guard, showcasing a comprehensive skill set that impacts both ends of the court. Offensively, she is a consistent threat, capable of scoring effectively from beyond the arc, with a polished mid-range game, and by finishing strongly at the rim. This versatility makes her incredibly difficult to guard and allows her to adapt to any defensive scheme.
Equally impressive is her commitment and effectiveness on the defensive end, solidifying her status as a true two-way player. Kailyn’s ability to guard multiple positions, disrupt opponents, and contribute significantly to her team’s defensive efforts makes her an invaluable asset and a truly well-rounded talent.

The inaugural season of the Big East League ended with her making the first team after making the final year of the Mid-East League’s first team in 2024. For the second year she made three separate 3A all-state teams. Hanni made the KBCA and SIK first team for the second time and the KSHSAA first team. Follow the links below to learn more.

Junior guard who is comfortable playing on the inside as well as on the perimeter. Really strong FT shooter and is exceptional at drawing fouls. Kailyn shot 84% from the strike against the Girard Trojans in a win while leading the team in fouls drawn against an opponent with 14 for the game. What stood out the most about Kailyn is her solid hands. During the game against the Trojans, she caught an impressive alley-oop lay-in for an and 1 in heavy traffic in the paint with a lot of contact at her mid-section and up. All while still being able to control the ball with the tips of her fingers with ease. The alley-oop was not a set play but it was clearly option#1 for the teammate who through her the ball as it seemed par for the course for Kailyn, which says something about her overall athleticism.

The Eagles came up just short of repeating as the 3A state champion and the ringleader that is Hanni put up some big numbers in the run. A chunk of that was demolishing the 3A state tournament record for made free throws, going 38/44. She consistently showed the ability to involve her teammates in the offense, carry the team when buckets were needed and be disruptive defensively. Over her three games she averaged 23.7 points, 5.66, assists and 3 steals. Follow my link for more.

As a freshman last season on a loaded, deep, and experienced Eagles team Hanni showed how much of an impact player she is by being a core part of the top rotation. She is a key part of the large chunk of the two-time semi-finalists returning for a run at finally taking home all the marbles. While having a slightish to average build Hanni has shown she is a high level guard during HS and summer ball seasons. Quick and smart on both sides of the ball she effectively stays in front of and challenges ball handlers and takes it them on the other end. She has good speed with the ball, is an effective three level scorer, a terrific transition passer, and an astonishing shot blocker. Hanni holds at least a pair of division II offers.
