. Scamman is not new to this situation. She has been PG #1 for years now within her teams and programs. This season it was nice to see her take over completely at Shenandoah High School. This was her time to step up and show everyone in the program that this is her team moving forward until graduation and she did just that. She led them in several positive statistical categories throughout the Winter, never giving up the role of Top Dawg to those around her. I’m excited to see Scamman on the road this AAU season. She will be playing with a ferocious
ETG Midwest Elite 3SSB
team that is loaded with talent at all positions. They usually run good sets and systems on both sides of the ball so I hope she uses the momentum from high school season to kill it moving forward. As for this Player Rankings Update, Scamman moves up to #12.

has been a sound and conservative PG to start off her Sophomore season while she is averaging some of the best numbers throughout the state offensively. Scamman is being both a top notch facilitator and scoring threat whenever she is coming down the floor this Winter. She understands when she should be attacking the gaps off of their transition down the floor or if she can bring it back out and set everyone up around her for an easy look if the defense happens to get back in time. She also is someone at the PG spot that isn’t afraid to crash the glass at a thorough rate off of missed shot attempts both offensively and defensively. This is a PG, who keeps it simple by taking what the defense gives her. When you can produce at a constant rate while doing it, it’s noteworthy.

is leading the state right now in total points with 195. Scamman is usually seen as more of a pass-first PG but she can obviously score the rock at a high rate as well. With the team’s her program is playing right now, she is just dominating the PG position in every definition of the phrase. As we get closer to the Playoffs others will need to step up with her when they face tougher competition but for now I don’t expect much to change in the near future. Scamman is the top dawg in her program now and she is showing it in every facet so now we will see how far she can take things as a leader come Playoff time.

excelled at the rim off of two feet at The Expo. She has explosiveness and skillset to get to the rim combined with the composure to make plays off of a jump stop. She found herself wide open at the basket a number of times with a simple ball

, and makes contested layups look breezy. I can tell Scamman plays the game at a different pace and this leads her to making high-IQ decisions time and time again.

Kayln Scamman showcased her exceptional feel for the game. She was almost always in the right place making the right decision on offense.
She showed herself to be very coachable, taking a drill where she worked on attacking a defender’s top foot and implementing it into her game immediately.
Kalyn has a reliable shot that opens up her ability to attack closeouts. It also helps her sell her pump fake fake name | 2027 NE that she used on multiple defenders on Sunday. She also navigates traffic well, getting to the rim.

It’s going to be a telling Winter for Kalyn Scamman of Shenandoah High School. The reason for that is because she will not have very much help around her so she is going to be looked to produce at a high rate on both sides of the ball. She will be asked to run their offense, score at Will, and defend her own position at a high rate. Throughout this event, Scamman made some noteworthy plays as a creator and facilitator. She didn’t force action, making bad choices and that helped her thrive in general. All in all, a good showing from the #14 rated 2028 out of Iowa.

of Shenandoah High School might not of jumped up to a higher number in these rankings but she has still been a stock-riser over the past six months with the collegiate interest she is currently bringing in. Scamman was offered by a D2 institution recently, while also getting her name mentioned by a few others in passing. Everyone is starting to notice that Scamman does the little things really well out on the floor and that’s what you need to do if you want to play at the D1 or D2 level. She leads by example and is someone that those around her can believe in. Something that will take her a long way in this game in the end. As long as she stays dedicated.

is coming off of an AAU season with her 15U ETG Midwest 3SSB program that was memorable. This 2028 Class is a solid one for this program and they did some work within the 3SSB Circuit this year. Scamman plays her part, she doesn’t get ahead of herself, she can play the 1 or the 2 offensively but she thrives setting up her team’s offense as the PG in a number of different ways. This past month, Scamman right in her first collegiate offer to D2-UNK. This is an offer from a productive program but this is just the beginning in the offer department for this one. I expect KS to hold 10-20 offers before she finishes up her high school career. She might not be the flashy one on the floor at all times but she makes things happen.

received her first collegiate offer the other day when UNK stepped up to throw their hat in the ring for the CG. Scamman is a true PG. She is listed as a CG cause she can also produce from the SG spot but the reality is that when you watch her for a few minutes, you immediately can tell that she is more comfortable running her team’s systems. She is also the one that make things happen when a play might break down though so it’s fair to say that she wears several different hats on the high school floor. At a D2 program, she could probably play both spots depending on whoever else is on roster. This is the first offer for Scamman but definitely won’t be the last.

There has always been something to like out of Kayln Scamman of Shenandoah High School at the guard spot. Scamman isn’t the one to kill you with crazy moves but fundamentals. She takes what the defense gives her and that helps her keep it simple. As a freshman Scamman made waves with her high school team. She stood out as the best overall guard, skill wise and that’s only going to grow with time. She already has a three level scoring mindset, active hands and feet on defense, and she acts like a born leader. Three things that usually lead to some positive results on the hardwood. This AAU season Scamman will be competing again with her ETG Midwest Elite 3SSB team out of Omaha and they will compete against some of the best competition this Country has to offer so anyone who can standout on that stage is going to be in great shape moving into their next season of school ball.
